Hi Gary.
Thanks for the tips you leave in in your blog, they are proving to be very useful on a trip that I am planning. Soon I will travel to the US to photograph some of the National Parks and you have provided me a lot of information.
On this trip, on my way from Yosemite to the Grand Canyon Village, I am planning one or two night stops, being the first in Stovepipe Wells. Assuming, I will spend only one night in Stovepipe Wells, I will only have two small windows of opportunity to photograph Death Valley, at sunset and at sunrise. Which places do you think is worth photographing while there. Zabriskie Point and Mesquite Flat Dunes are in route. If I choose these two locations, which one should I photograph at sunrise and at sunset? Do you recommend any other location close by?

My pleasure, Sergio. The dunes are good at either sunrise or sunset; Zabriskie is better at sunrise. Have a great trip.
