Horseshoe Bend near Page, Arizona, is an aptly named and frequently photographed bend in the Colorado River. Here I ignored the standard view to emphasize a precariously perched clump of wildflowers.

Having been there recently I can appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of this wonder. The hardest part of the shoot was not being inches from the edge but the hike back to the car.
